Maya Angelou defined epiphany as “the occurrence when the mind, the body, the heart, and the soul focus together and see an old thing in a new way.” This epiphany season we are learning about other congregations in our denomination that have had their own epiphanies in how they have discerned God’s vision for them in a new way. We will hear about congregations that have created communities who care for the ocean, for their neighbors, for the hungry, for the unsheltered, and for those in the desert. We will listen deeply for our own epiphanies of how God is nudging Cairn to see an old thing in a new way.
