As the season turns from Advent into Epiphany and moves us toward Lent,  Love Is a Rebellion deepens into its second movement: The Work of Love. What was conceived in holy desire and born through courageous consent now grows into a way of life. The light revealed at Epiphany does not remain abstract or distant—it presses into bodies, communities, and commitments. The body keeps the promise.

In this part of the season, the rebellion matures into practice. Love begins to organize itself for the long struggle: learning how to endure, how to tell the truth, how to resist harm without becoming what we oppose. Rooted in Christ’s embodied life, we explore what it means to live love publicly and persistently—tending what has been planted, strengthening what has taken root, and joining our lives to God’s ongoing work of repair, liberation, and renewal in the world.

Guided by scripture, prayer, ritual, and communal imagination, we attend to the steady, often unseen labor of love: the daily choices, shared commitments, and faithful actions through which God’s desire continues to take flesh among us.
